Nebraska FFV Awareness Campaign
The Nebraska Ethanol Board (NEB) endorsed the National FFV Awareness Campaign and has been working with the Clean Fuels Foundation on the Campaign since its inception. The NEB and FFV Awareness Campaign team are working together to create and execute outreach programs, pilot new projects, and help other state agencies across the country that want to encourage the production and use of ethanol and other biofuels.
The Nebraska Ethanol Board is a state agency, created in 1971 by the Nebraska Legislature—the first state agency in the United States devoted solely to the development of the ethanol industry. The Nebraska Ethanol Board is made up of seven members appointed by the Governor, and one non-voting technical advisor.

Works with the state Department of Motor Vehicles to develop outreach campaigns with the state’s FlexFuel Vehicle (FFV) database of FFV owners.
Works with their Department of Transportation on posting new E85 refueling signage on state highways.
Works with stakeholders to promote the opening of new E85 stations.
Works on public policies to encourage the production and use of ethanol in Nebraska that will stimulate the economy, improve air quality and meet the goals of the national renewable fuels standard.
Creates and promotes events that will educate the public, public policy makers, and the media.
